Orange Capital Partners focusses on two defined investment strategies. Firstly, European residential where we target the affordable housing sector in North-western Europe. Secondly, the retail sector where we target convenience shopping centers in the Netherlands and opportunistic retail acquisitions.

THE ROLE
The opportunity stems from the immense growth of Orange Capital Partners (OCP) in the last few years. While maintaining focus on daily operations you will be responsible to optimize the reporting and accounting processes. You are challenged to evaluate the accounting, reporting, and tax structure and examine alternative options to enhance efficiencies and build scalable solutions using state-of-the-art technology. You maintain the overview and understand the impact of operational changes on the entire group, both on the national as well as international level.
If you do the job right, you will be focused on improvement processes, while ensuring that monthly and quarterly reporting s accurate and on time. When you are successful, further growth within the company will be facilitated either within leadership positions or specialized based on your expertise and knowledge.
The main tasks and responsibilities
• Supervise, evaluate and optimize outsourced accounting and reporting processes;
• Budgeting and Forecasting;
• Maintain corporate structure and tax compliance in various jurisdictions (CIT, VAT, and payroll tax);
• Cash management and cash flow planning;
• Quarterly management reporting;
• Reporting to regulatory supervisory bodies;
• Management of the annual audit process;
• Statutory reporting;
• Liaise with external corporate accountants, auditors and tax advisors.
Some Projects
• Reduce the reporting cycle from 5 weeks to 1 week;
• Establishing and monitoring accounting manual and Internal Control framework;
• Creating a scalable formula for future growth.
Professional Profile
• Master’s degree in accounting, controlling or accountancy;
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (is a strong plus);
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience (i.e. accounting, audit, or controlling);
• IT-savvy and innovation minded;
• Ability to “own” process and timelines, deliver a high-quality and timely output.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
You are a team player, but at the same time you take the initiative to solve tasks independently. You thrive on solving hands-on tasks and are careful, analytical, and structured in your way of working. At the same time, you are well balanced and cope well with hectic situations.
As you must be able to perform at all levels in the organization, it is important that you are a good and clear communicator of technical accounting messages. Good social skills are a prerequisite for fulfilling this role and being successful in Orange Capital Partners culture.
